
How long is the Program?
Hope By The Sea offers 30, 60, and 90 day intensive treatment programs with extended care and soberliving facilities available for any length of stay.
Do you have a detox facility?
Yes, Hope By The Sea can detox from any substance and a typical length of stay in the detox facility is 3 - 7 days depending on the substance.
Will my family be able to be involved?
Yes, we believe that family involvement can be a crucial part of ones recovery. Hope By The Sea has a family group program every Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 and can also schedule for a individual session with our clinical director.
Will I be allowed visitors?
Yes, we allow visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. Visitation is at the discretion of the Hope By The Sea clinical staff. We reserve the right to disallow visitor not healthy to the clients recovery.
Are you a Dual Diagnosis Program?
Hope By The Sea is a Dual Diagnosis program. Every client that comes to our facility receives a psychological evaluation to determine any issues. If there are any psychiatric issues determined we will develop a Dual diagnosis treatment plan along with a substance abuse treatment plan that will be individualized for each client.
Do I receive individual therapy?
Yes, you will work one on one with our professionally trained addiction and dual diagnosis treatment team which consist of Addiction Medicine Specialist, Psychologist, Physician Assistants, R.N., Drug and Alcohol Counselors, and Transitional Counselors,
If you are in California why are you listed on the East Coast?
Hope By The Sea is a nationally recognized substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment program. We have people fly in from all over the United States, Canada, and Europe for our specialized treatment.
What Airports can I fly into?
The closet airport to us is John Wayne(SNA) in Orange county, but we will pick up from Los Angeles(LAX), Long Beach(LGB), Ontario(ONT), and San Diego(SAN). We recommend a direct flight if at all possible.
What should I bring?
As Penny always says pack like you are going to vacation at the beach.
You Should Bring:
• Limited amount of clothing, as we have laundry facilities to wash clothes
• All clothing should be appropriate and in good taste (no depiction of sex, drugs, or alcohol)
• Personal care products (tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, razor)
• Bathing suit (one piece for women, board short style for men)
• Jacket and sweater
• Gym clothes and athletic shoes
• Insurance Card
• Current prescriptions in original bottles
• iPod or mp3 player with headphones
Do Not Bring
• Valuables, jewelry, etc
• Laptops (unless approved)
• Guns, knives, or any other weapons
• Illegal substances
• Any items containing alcohol, mouthwash, perfume, cologne, ect
