The Staff (Family) of Hope By The Sea,

Each and every one of you have touched my heart and I feel so blessed to have found such a loving and supportive family in HBTS. I am so excited to be moving out to California and being able to see you all on a regular basis. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unconditional love and support. I love you all very much and I will see you soon.

Dear Penny,

There are no words to express how much you have done for us and for my son. over the past month. Your loving support and counsel has comforted, calmed and uplifted us. We know we're on a long journey but you and your team have given us a tremendous first step. Please tell Cyndie, Chad and Danny how much we appreciate all of the effort expended on behalf of my son. You are an amazing group of people who deserve many blessings. We will stay in touch.

I appreciate you and all you did for me while I was at Hope By The Sea. Thank you for your warm hugs and gentle smiles. You treated me with dignity and gave me the hope that I could make it. Thank you especially for putting me in the executive house. Living there was as therapeutic as the program itself. It was quiet, my roommates were incredible, and Stacey made the house a home. It was truly a privilege staying there. It really contributed to my recovery. And I am grateful. You are a marvelous addition to the staff at Hope By The Sea. I love the warmth you radiate. It's obvious that all the staff respects and adores you. Thank you for one of the best experiences of my life. I have hope now!

What a difference a year can make! The grace that filled me up while in your loving care was the greatest gift of a lifetime, for it gave me life, hope, love, faith, belief, and ignited my soul. This is a gift I will always treasure and it is all of you who gave it to me.

Thank you for being so kind, so caring, so generous. And thank you for making my sobriety possible and the opportunity to help these young men. I have grown and learned a lot. Thank you for Christmas lunch, that was very thoughtful of you. It was really nice gathering with lots of laughs and smiles in a sober setting. Who would have thought that it was possible!
